Healing & Anti-Inflammatory Milk
This healing milk/drink is excellent for inflammation in arthritis and bursitis and support for the immune system.

- 1⁄4 cup Organic Turmeric Root Powder
- Almond Oil
- Milk – Cow’s, Almond, Coconut, or Hemp (unsweetened)
- Honey – optional
Make Turmeric Base:
Starting with the turmeric – I really like this one that is organic and from a reputable source. Combine the turmeric with 1/2 cup water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and then lower the heat and simmer until the mixture turns into a thick paste. Cool and scoop into a glass jar and store in the refrigerator.
To make one serving – take 1 tsp. turmeric paste, 1 tsp. almond oil, and 1 cup milk or non-diary milk of your choice in a blender. Use coconut milk for added immune support. Add honey (use manuka honey for additional immune support) to sweeten. Blend to make a frothy drink.
*Manuka Honey – what is it? This honey is exclusive to New Zealand and is high in poly phenols – natural anti-oxidants and immune support.
