Nutrition & Nutrigenomics Support for Histamine Intolerance, Gut Health, and Food Reactions
Are healthy foods making you feel worse?
If you are reacting to foods that are supposed to be “good for you,” struggling with
Many women come to me after a round of antibiotics, repeated antibiotic use, a major illness, long-term stress, hormone shifts, or years of digestive symptoms left their gut more reactive and their food list smaller.
Food reactions are rarely just about the food.
Histamine intolerance, digestive symptoms, skin flares, brain fog, insomnia, hormone shifts, autoimmune-related inflammation, and post-antibiotic gut changes often overlap because the gut, immune system, hormones, and genetic pathways are all connected.
My goal is to help you stop guessing, reduce food fear, and understand what your body needs so you can rebuild food tolerance with more confidence.
Choose the Level of Support That Fits Where You Are Right Now
Whether you are just starting to connect the dots or you are ready for deeper genomic and gut restoration work, there is a path for you.
Histamine Food Confidence Kit
Launching August, 2026
A self-guided starter program for women who feel overwhelmed by low-histamine eating.
If every food list tells you something different, leftovers feel risky, and you are tired of wondering what is “safe” to eat, this is the best place to begin.
The Histamine Food Confidence Kit is a simple, practical, self-guided program designed to help you build low-histamine meals, manage reactive days, handle leftovers safely, and track food reactions without obsessing.
This is not another restrictive diet plan. It is a calm starting point to help you understand your food reactions and begin rebuilding confidence in your meals.
This program is perfect for you if you are:
Struggling to Know What to Eat
You are trying to follow a low-histamine diet, but every list seems to contradict the next one. One list says a food is fine, another says to avoid it, and your nervous system is now one confusing grocery trip away from filing a complaint.
Reacting to "healthy foods"
Foods like spinach, avocado, yogurt, kombucha, leftovers, tomatoes, bananas, or chocolate may trigger symptoms, but you are not sure if the issue is histamine, oxalates, salicylates, FODMAPs, sulfur, blood sugar, hormones, or your gut.
Ready for a simple first step
You want practical guidance without jumping straight into expensive testing, complicated protocols, or a long-term program.
Food Reaction Gene Snapshot
A focused genomic review to help you understand why you may be reacting
If you suspect your food reactions are connected to your genes, gut health, hormones, inflammation, or methylation pathways, the Food Reaction Gene Snapshot gives you a clearer starting point.
This service is designed to help you understand key genetic patterns that may influence
Instead of focusing on one gene, such as DAO, HNMT, MTHFR, or COMT, we look at the bigger picture. Your genes work in pathways, not in tiny isolated drama clubs.
This service is perfect for you if you are:
Wonderfing if your genes are part of your food reactions
You have tried changing your diet, removing foods, adding supplements, or following online advice, but you still do not understand why your symptoms keep showing up.
Confused by histamine genes
You have heard about DAO, HNMT, MTHFR, COMT, FUT2, or other genes, but you are not sure what they actually mean for your food tolerance, gut health, hormones, or inflammation.
Looking for direction before committing to a deeper program
You want personalized insight and a clearer next step without starting with a full gut restoration or long-term genomic program.
1:1 Nutrition + Genomics Consulting
Personalized support for complex food reactions, gut symptoms, hormones, and autoimmune patterns
If your symptoms feel layered, unpredictable, or more complicated than a food list can solve, 1:1 support may be the best fit.
This is where we look more deeply at your health story, food reactions, gut function, antibiotic history, inflammation, hormone shifts, lifestyle, labs when appropriate, and genomic patterns. The goal is to help you understand what may be driving your symptoms and create a realistic plan to support your body without unnecessary restriction.
Many clients come to me feeling like their gut changed after antibiotics, illness, stress, hormonal changes, or years of digestive issues. While antibiotics can be necessary and even life-saving, they can also shift the gut microbiome, and for some people, this may contribute to lower food tolerance, more digestive symptoms, and increased reactivity.
My approach is food-first, genetics-informed, and designed to help you rebuild tolerance over time.
This program is perfect for you if you are:
Reacting to more and more foods
Your “safe food” list keeps getting smaller, and you are worried that restricting more foods will only make things worse.
Dealing with gut symptoms and histamine intolerance
You may be struggling with bloating, constipation, diarrhea, reflux, food sensitivity, skin flares, headaches, insomnia, allergies, or brain fog, and you suspect your gut is playing a major role.
Your gut has not felt the same since antibiotics
You may have noticed more bloating, food reactions, loose stools, constipation, reflux, skin flares, or histamine-type symptoms after antibiotics, repeated antibiotic use, illness, or a major gut disruption. Instead of chasing every symptom separately, we look at how your gut, microbiome, immune system, and food tolerance may be connected.
Navigating perimenopause, inflammation, or autoimmunity
You may notice your food reactions worsen around hormone shifts, stress, poor sleep, autoimmune flares, or inflammatory symptoms such as skin issues, joint discomfort, or fatigue.
Tired of one-size-fits-all protocols
You do not need another generic gut protocol or a supplement shelf that looks like it needs its own ZIP code. You need a plan that makes sense for your body.
Histamine Gene-to-Gut Restoration
An in-depth program for women ready to rebuild food tolerance from the root.
For women who need more comprehensive support, the Histamine Gene-to-Gut Restoration program brings together nutrigenomics, gut health, post-antibiotic gut recovery, food tolerance, inflammation support, and practical nutrition strategy.
This is the best fit when
We look at the body as a connected system: gut, genes, immune response, hormones, detoxification, methylation, microbiome resilience, and nervous system support.
This program if perfect for you if:
Ready to Stop Chasing Symptoms
You are tired of reacting, restricting, Googling, supplement-hopping, and trying to figure out what your body is doing on your own.
Looking for root-cause support
You want to understand why your body may be struggling with histamine, food chemicals, inflammation, hormone shifts, and gut-related immune activation.
Ready for a personalized plan
You want guidance that uses your health history, symptoms, and labs, when needed, along with genetic patterns to create a realistic nutrition and lifestyle plan.
Not Sure Where to Start?
If you are not sure which option is the best fit, that is exactly what the Discovery Chat is for.
During this complimentary call, we will briefly review your main concerns, your goals, and whether a self-guided program, Gene Snapshot, or 1:1 support makes the most sense for you.
You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. In fact, if you did, you probably would not be reading a Services page. Fair enough.
questions about my services
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer in-office appointment?
No. All consultations are offered virtually through Zoom and Practice Better. Practice Better is a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform used for forms, messaging, appointments, and client resources.
Do offer genomic testing?
Yes. I use nutrigenomics to help identify patterns that may influence
Do you offer gut or microbiome testing?
When appropriate, yes. Testing depends on your symptoms, history, goals, and what information would actually change the plan. I do not recommend testing just to collect more data. Your body is not a scavenger hunt.
Can you help if I am already on a low-histamine diet?
Yes. Many clients come to me after they have already tried a low-histamine diet and still feel stuck. The goal is not to stay restricted forever. The goal is to understand why your tolerance is low and how to support your body so you can expand your diet as much as possible.
Do you work with women in perimenopause or menopause?
Yes. Hormone shifts can make histamine symptoms, food reactions, sleep issues, skin flares, anxiety, and inflammation feel more unpredictable. This is a major part of the work I do with women 40+.
Do you treat MCAS, autoimmune disease, or other medical conditions?
No. I do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions. My work is nutrition, lifestyle, gut health, and nutrigenomics education and support. I always recommend working with your physician or licensed medical provider for diagnosis, medication decisions, and medical treatment.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payments are processed through Practice Better. Major credit cards are accepted. Payment plans are offered through the “Buy Now, Pay Later” (BNPL) financial services. It allows you to split payments into smaller, usually interest-free installments instead of paying the full amount upfront.
What is the best first step?
If you are brand new and overwhelmed by food reactions, start with the Histamine Food Confidence Kit. If you already suspect your genes are involved, the Food Reaction Gene Snapshot may be a better fit. If your symptoms are complex or long-standing, book a Discovery Chat to determine whether 1:1 support is appropriate.
